Season Desk
How Apikernel Path structures earnings season reaction tracking from calendar map to live window.
What the Season Desk is
The Season Desk is our working name for the sequence we use every reporting window. It is not a trading floor and not a product interface — it is a human rhythm: map, pattern, watch.
Stage one — Map
We take your holdings and candidates and place them on the reporting calendar. We mark estimated dates as estimates. We highlight days where several correlated names print together, because that is when attention frays and peer spill is most common.
Deliverable: a calendar view and a one-page clustering note.
Stage two — Pattern
For each priority name we write a short reaction card: typical pre-print drift, open gap behaviour after results, volume signature, and how long recovery (or continuation) has historically taken. We note when history is thin — a recent IPO or a name that changed reporting currency mid-period.
Deliverable: a compact briefing pack, written to be read the evening before a cluster.
Stage three — Watch
During the live window we keep the agreed hours. If a print lands inside pattern, we may send only a brief confirmation. If it breaks pattern — gap size, volume, or peer behaviour — we schedule the debrief you already reserved.
Deliverable: same-window commentary and, where booked, a post-print session.
What clients bring
A list with priorities marked, any mandate constraints, and honesty about how many names they can truly watch. We will ask you to cut a list that is too long for the fee and the calendar.
Natural next actions
- Review the Earnings Season Reaction Briefing if you need the full sequence.
- Start with Pre-Season Portfolio Mapping if the calendar itself is still unclear.
